Saturday was a great Opportunity to Meet Some Democratic candidates for Governor.
Now, Friends, It's time to do your homework!
Who was there?
Thanks to Door County Dems, Kewaunee and Manitowoc Dems, Brown County Dems, Door County Indivisible, Brown County Indivisible, Northern Door Activism and Vocal Locals Kewaunee County we had a creative opportunity to meet 7 of the candidates running for the Democratic nomination for governor in a speed dating style. With a strong turnout, we divided into 7 groups going to separate rooms as we met each individual. 5 minutes were dedicated to the candidate introducing themselves and we had 10 minutes to question them on any topic we wished. Many questions were about our Wisconsin schools and our health care system in the state which is top of mind for many of us.

WE WON! Door County voters supported Chris Taylor in a vote of 60% to 40% for Maria Lazar similar to the statewide vote. Well done, fellow citizens!

We organize postcard events, roadside signage, yard signs, pop-up roadside rallies, newspaper ads, letters to the editor, marches/rallies, tabling, issue focused "teach-ins", and other events that help inform voters about various issues. |
